Governance of AGSD (UK)

The Association for Glycogen Storage Disease (UK) Limited is a membership based association. It is a company limited by guarantee which is registered as company number 6981121.

AGSD (UK) is a charity registered under number 1132271 with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, although we cover the whole of the United Kingdom. Our details can be viewed on the Charity Commission website. (Prior to incorporation our registration number was 327841.)

The AGSD is governed by a Memorandum and Articles of Association. This document sets out the objects of the charity, how the Trustees are appointed, how meetings are conducted and how the finances are managed.

The members of the charity elect the Trustees who manage the association on behalf of the members.
