How we help

The AGSD (UK) aims to help patients and their families affected by Glycogen Storage Diseases in a number of ways. We:

  • Act as a family contact and support group.
  • Provide information on request by phone or email.
  • Hold conferences and type-specific workshops.
  • Contribute towards travel and accommodation expenses incurred by people attending AGSD (UK) conferences and other GSD related events, who otherwise would not be able to attend.
  • Produce reports on the conferences and workshops held.
  • Carry out, promote and/or support research and surveys into GSDs.
  • Publish a Newsletter three times a year (click on box at side to register to receive this free by email).
  • Publish information on our website.
