HARRISON FORD IN GSD FILM Extraordinary Measures starring Harrison Ford, based on the book "The Cure" it tells the story of John Crowley and his part in funding the development of an enzyme-replacement therapy for people with Pompe Disease. Two of John's children suffer from Pompe (GSD Type II). UK release 26th February.

The AGSD (UK) publishes a newsletter three times per year, to be four times from 2008. These carry information on the annual conference and other events, articles about members and their experiences, medical updates, reports of visits to overseas conferences, fund raising news, etc. (Type II also publish the Pompe Bulletin, see the Pompe Pages.) REGISTER TO RECEIVE NEWSLETTER We can send you each newsletter as soon as it is published - FREE OF CHARGE - but you must register with us and give us an email address. OR JOIN THE AGSD If you wish to receive the newsletter as a printed copy in the post, to cover costs we request that you become a member of AGSD (UK) and pay the very modest annual subscription. Of course, we would like you to join anyway if you feel able.
PAST ISSUES Newsletters are uploaded to this web site, but only long after they are issued, so it is much better to register and receive them promptly by email.
