The AGSD-UK 2015 conference was a great success:

I can't thank you and the AGSD-UK team enough for the superb organisation of the conference this year! The workshops and range of speakers was fantastic. It was so good to meet the key physicians who are helping with the condition. Another incredible outcome of the conference was that our daughter made two friends the same age as her whom we intend to meet with and to keep in contact with. As the condition is rare it is invaluable that she has friends to share her struggles with. It is also great that my husband and I now have friends who are GSD parents too! What a fantastic thing you do - thank you so much, from all of us!

About conferences

The AGSD-UK holds an Annual Conference which usually takes place at a hotel on a Saturday in the autumn. It is attended by people with GSDs, their families and many medical professionals and researchers.

The programme normally includes a main speaker on a topic relevant to all, news and updates, the association's AGM and type-specific workshops (see the Workshops section). A creche is provided. Many members like to arrive the previous evening and have a social get-together before the Conference starts in the morning.

AGSD-UK members have expressed a preference for the Annual Conference to be held in a different part of the country each year, so this is what the Executive Committee endeavours to achieve.

From this page you can link to details of the next Annual Conference, book for the conference, and review past conferences and download reports.
