About conferences

The AGSD-UK holds an Annual Conference which usually takes place at a hotel on a Saturday in the autumn. It is attended by people with GSDs, their families and many medical professionals and researchers.

The programme normally includes a main speaker on a topic relevant to all, news and updates, the association's AGM and type-specific workshops (see the Workshops section). A creche is provided. Many members like to arrive the previous evening and have a social get-together before the Conference starts in the morning.

AGSD-UK members have expressed a preference for the Annual Conference to be held in a different part of the country each year, so this is what the Executive Committee endeavours to achieve.
