In November 2003 eighteen mountain-bike riders raised over £70,000 for our charity. In March 2006 a smaller group raised another £30,000. Several veterans from those rides have expressed a keen interest in taking part in future events and recently I have been contacted by friends and colleagues who would also like to be considered.
So the trustees are looking to form a small sub-committee of volunteers to help design and organise the next challenge; a small group of enthusiasts who will choose the event and location and between them will take care of the event. The trustees will fully support you and will provide funds for meetings, advertising and recruitment of participants.
Please contact Allan Muir (Pompe Coordinator) if you would like to be involved: Email: type2@agsd.org.uk Tel: 01730 231554
